+ What does each crystal mean?
Agate: Agates are formed in volcanic lava which contain gas bubbles that fill with water and turn to quartz and sometimes amethyst. Agate is quartz with impurities. The natural color of Agate is mostly gray, or reddish brown, if it is not primarily one of these colors it has been dyed.
Amethyst: The February birthstone is the most valuable of the quartz gemstones. It contains iron that is finely dispersed throughout the crystal. The color is caused by the presence of manganese oxide impurities. It is found in alluvial deposits all around the world and occurs in crystalline or massive form.
Angel Aura Quartz: Quartz is the most common mineral on the face of the Earth. It is found in nearly every geological environment and is at least a component of almost every rock type. It is also the most varied in terms of varieties, colors and forms. The Angel Aura Quartz gets its prismatic iridescence from a coating of Platinum and Silver, sometimes Gold or other trace metals.
Aventurine: Aventurine is a form of quartz, characterized by its translucency and the presence of platy mineral inclusions that give a shimmering or glistening effect termed “aventurescence”. Green Aventurine is known as the “Stone of Opportunity,” thought to be the luckiest of all crystals, especially in manifesting prosperity and wealth, or for increasing favor in competitions or games of chance. Its winning energy makes it a great ally for boosting one’s chances in any situation - a first date, tax audit, even landing a promotion.
Aquamarine: Aquamarine, named for the Latin phrase "water of the sea", is the blue to blue-green variety Beryl. Aquamarine ranges in color from a faint, light blue to blue and bluish-green, with lighter colored stones being the more common type. Associated with the Throat chakra, Aquamarine helps overcome the fear of speaking, and is an excellent stone for teachers and presenters of all types.
Bloodstone: The mineral aggregate heliotrope, also known as bloodstone, is a cryptocrystalline mixture of quartz that occurs mostly as jasper (opaque) or sometimes as chalcedony (translucent). The "classic" bloodstone is opaque green jasper with red inclusions of hematite. The red inclusions are supposed to resemble spots of blood, hence the name bloodstone. The name heliotrope derives from various ancient notions about the manner in which the mineral reflects light.
Citrine: Citrine is any quartz cluster that is yellow or orange in color. Although often cut as a gemstone, citrine is actually somewhat rare in nature. Most citrines on the market have been heat treated. Items of low grade, inexpensive amethyst or smoky quartz are often cooked at high temperatures to produce the more profitable orange yellow citrine.
Hematite: Hematite is one of the most common minerals. It is mined as the main ore of iron. Hematite gets its name from a Greek word meaning blood-like because of the color of its powder.
Jasper: Though Jasper can be a solid color, it is most often mottled, spotted, ringed, or striped. Jasper is an ancient gemstone and in antiquity was regarded as a valuable stone. A wonderful stone for emotional healing, it imparts a calm, soothing energy. Jasper builds confidence, reduces insecurities, and supports a healthy need to move forward in one's life. It also helps one let go of overwhelming feelings of guilt and unrealistic fears that only serve to inhibit healing and moving forward
Labradorite: Labradorite is an igneous feldspar originally discovered in Labrador, Canada .The most highly prized forms feature a brilliant iridescence of colors. Not all labradorite exhibits this feature. Our labradorite is of the highest quality, mined in Madagascar. It has a cut base and a polished surface that vividly displays its iridescence.
Lapis Lazuli: Lapis Lazuli, also known as Lazurite. These are high quality sculptures found in Afghanistan, called “Mineral Grade” Lapis Lazuli is a semi-precious stone valued for its deep blue color. It is the source of the pigment ultramarine, Lapis Lazuli is not a mineral but a rock colored by Lazurite.
Malachite: Malachite's most striking physical property is its green color. All specimens of the mineral are green and range from a pastel green, to a bright green, to an extremely dark green that is almost black. It is typically found as stalactites and botryoidal coatings on the surfaces of underground cavities . When these materials are cut into slabs and pieces, the cut surfaces often exhibit beautiful banding and eyes.
Prasiolite: Prasiolite is a yellowish green to green material that is produced when Amethyst is heated or irradiated. Most consumers are not familiar with Prasiolite, and for that reason it is often not seen! It is a stone that encourages spiritual and personal growth. It also fosters love and compassion and helps with deepening your connection with Mother Earth.
Rose Quartz: Rose quartz is one of the most desirable varieties of quartz. The pink to rose red color is completely unique, unlike any other pink mineral species. The color is caused by iron and titanium impurities sometimes Gold or other trace metals.
Selenite: Since the late 20th century, with the growing interest in crystal therapy and crystal healing in the New Age and alternative healing counterculture, Selenite, a crystallized form of Gypsum has grown immensely popular. If Selenite crystals show opacity, or color it is caused by the presence of other minerals.
Smoky Quartz: The color of smoky quartz is variable from brown to black and sometimes smoky gray colored specimens are included as smoky quartz. The cause of the color of smoky quartz is in question but it is almost certainly related to the amount of exposure to radiation that the stone has undergone. Natural smoky quartz often occurs in granitic rocks which have a small but persistent amount of radioactivity. Most smoky quartz that makes its way to rock shops and to some gem cutters has been artificially irradiated to produce a dark black color.
Quartz: Quartz is the most common mineral on the face of the Earth. It is found in nearly every geological environment and is at least a component of almost every rock type. It is also the most varied in terms of varieties, colors and forms. This variety comes about because of the abundance and widespread distribution of quartz. A collector could easily have hundreds of quartz specimens and not have two that are the same due to the many broad categories.

+ How do I cleanse my crystals?
Crystals are a powerful tool with the ability to transform energy frequencies and guide your spiritual practice. Before and after using a crystal, it is critical to cleanse it of any previous energies to enhance and activate its powers. Every time a crystal interacts with a new energy source it undergoes changes, whether good or bad or neutral, and cleansing the crystal allows it to release any previous energies to align with yours.
There are several different mediums to cleanse your crystal with – water, smoke, breath, sound. We recommend choosing a technique that enables you to set your intention and connect with your crystal. To cleanse your crystal, simply use the medium of your choice as a tool to help you visualize the removal of negative energy.
